What is EMDR?
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based trauma therapy that helps the brain process distressing memories so they no longer feel as overwhelming or present in everyday life. Many people find that EMDR helps them process experiences that talk therapy alone hasn’t fully resolved.
What is an EMDR Intensive?
An EMDR intensive is a longer therapy session where we focus on deeper trauma processing in a structured and supportive environment. Instead of spreading the work across many weeks, intensives allow us to dedicate several hours to the process. Breaks, grounding practices, and integration time are included so the work feels manageable and supportive.
Who might benefit from an EMDR Intensive?
Feel stuck in recurring emotional patterns
Want to focus on a specific memory or life experience
Have done therapy before but want to go deeper
Prefer a focused format instead of weekly sessions
Are navigating trauma, anxiety, or major life transitions
